We have already learned the letters, capital letters, and punctuation in the previous lessons. Now, it’s time to put it all together and check how well we’ve learned.
In today’s Typing Practice, we are going to type complete sentences. It is like the beginning of professional typing.
Our goal is to start with a capital, type each word smoothly, and finish with the right punctuation.
Typing a Full Sentence — Step by Step
In the typing task, we have added full sentences with various punctuation so that it can pull all the things we have learned in the previous lessons of 30 days free typing.
Start with a Capital Letter
All sentences begin with a capital letter. Use the opposite hand for the Shift key, like we learned on Day 9.
Type the Words with Flow
Always keep your thumb on the space bar after every word typed. Try reading a few words ahead as you type. That helps you stay smooth and quick in the task.
End with the Right Punctuation
Finish each sentence with a period (.) or question mark (?). Then press the space bar once to start the next sentence.
Day 11 Practice Task: Typing Sentences
Today, you’ll practice full sentences. No more single letters or small words. You’ll type:
- Simple sentences
- Questions
- Sentences with commas
This will help us combine all our skills and build confidence.
Tips to Help You
- Read Before Typing: Always try to read quickly other words/sentences, it will give you some advanced things in your memory, and it will boost your typing speed.
- Don’t Stop for Small Mistakes: If you make a tiny error or typo, keep going. You can fix it after that can be fixed later. If you stop, you will lose your flow.
- Think Like a Musician: It will be better if you can find a rhythm in the typing. It will make typing more enjoyable and error-free.
We hope you are doing well and you can pass any exam of the Typing Test.
